The NDFP Player Ranking is the tabulation of ranking points earned in a rolling 2-year period that shows consistency of performance. Thus the current Player Ranking is based on points earned from October 2012 to September 2014. The basis for ranking points earned is the number of participants and total cash prize of the sanctioned tournament.

Aside from the recognition and the title as the top player of the land, the Player Ranking is the source for the seeding format of the Open Singles and the top 32 qualifiers for the prestigious Federation Cup.
