2017 NDFP RANKING TOURNAMENT STARTS IN NCR

The opening salvo of the 2017 National Capital Region NDFP Ranking Tournaments starts with the 3rd Philippine Columbian Association - Emong’s Cup this Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19, at the PCA Club House in Plaza Dilao, Paco, Manila.

The 120K PCA-Emong’s Cup is a 2-day national ranking tournament sanctioned by the National Darts Federation of the Philippines (NDFP). Currently on its 3rd year, the PCA Dart Open continues to be one of the biggest national tournaments organized and held in Metro Manila that provides the venue for dart players and enthusiasts to showcase their exceptional skills in competitive darts.

On tap for the first event is the 30K Fix 4-Person Team Championship at 10AM, followed by the 20K Classified Draw Doubles. On Sunday, March 19 are the 30K Classified Draw Triples and the much awaited 40K Emong’s Cup Open Singles at 3PM.

NDFP National Master Dolreich “DJ” Tongcopanon of Robson-Gensan, who is also the top ranked player of the NDFP Ranking, defends his back to back titles of the two previous Emong’s Cup Open Single’s event.

The 3rd PCA-Emong’s Cup is the 9th dart tournament of the 1M 1st Quarter NDFP Ranking and Sanctioned Tournaments. We have seen record participation so far in all of the eight (8) previous tournaments, and the PCA-Emong’s Cup will not be an exception.

For the comfort, convenience, and enjoyment of darters, the 3rd PCA-Emong’s Cup will have a 20-dartboard set-up in an air-conditioned Bowling Arena. The tournament will be powered by Fast-Track, the automated tournament software designed and developed by the NDFP. The software allows for automated registration, drawing, and bracketing that significantly speeds up the running of tournaments and improves over-all tournament management and efficiency.

Trophies for the 120K PCA Darts Open will be provided by Alfonso I Light. The tournament is supported by Jade Bros. Farm and Livestock, Inc., Jade Bros. Freight International, Inc., Tresma De Malate Sports Bar & Grill, and Robson Sportscraft.
