With a dramatic outing of 161, Paolo Nebrida clinched his 3rd National Title in the recently concluded 150K Bantayog Festival in Daet to crown himself as the 21st National Master.
The finals was a cliffhanger tied at 4 apiece with finalist Jay Doria waiting to throw his 52 remaining. Needing 3 perfect darts to win, Nebrida overcame tremendous pressure to throw a superb 161 (T20-T17-Double Bulls) championship finish.
Leading up to his 3rd National Title, Nebrida won the 120K Baguio Day Open in August, 2018 and last month 's 150K Hon. Zubiri - Deticio Open in Malaybalay, Bukidnon.
Paolo Nebrida of Team Robson hails from Olongapo City, and comes from the ranks of the competitive NDFP youth players. He came in T16 in the PDC World Youth Championship in London last November accompanied by his teammate and coach Ian Perez. His regular practice partner is another teammate, Noel Malicdem who is also his officemate.
