TONGCOPANON DEFENDS EMONG’S CUP TITLE

NDFP National Master and top ranked player Dolreich “DJ” Tongcopanon of Robson-Gensan will defend his back-to-back Emong’s Cup Open Singles title at the 3rd Philippine Columbian Association P120K Darts Open on March 18 – 19, 2017 at the PCA Sports Center in Plaza Dilao, Paco, Manila.

Tongcopanon bagged the first Emong’s Cup singles title in 2015, against Cordillera darter Val Capuyan.   The following year, Tongcopanon dominated 116 darters and defeated Boie Parfan in the finals to win his second Emong’s Cup singles title.

A product of the NDFP Youth Singles program, Tongcopanon holds nine (9) Youth Singles titles, two (2) NDFP Regional titles, five (5) NDFP National titles, and the 2015 NDFP Federation Cup.  He was the 2015 runaway recipient of the 20K Chris Sports Darter of the Year award.  At age 20, Tongcopanon became the youngest darter to win a national ranking tournament, as well as the youngest darter to be inducted in the prestigious circle of NDFP National Masters.

Watch DJ Tongcopanon in action against other top dart players as they battle for the top spot of the P120K PCA-Emong’s Cup Open Singles at the fully air-conditioned PCA Sports Center with a 20-dartboard set-up.  The tournament will be powered by Fast-Track, NDFP’s automated tournament management software.

Trophies for the 120K PCA Darts Open will be provided by Alfonso I Light.  The tournament is supported by Jade Bros. Farm and Livestock, Inc., Jade Bros. Freight International, Inc., Tresma De Malate Sports Bar & Grill, and Robson Sportscraft.
