Lourence Ilagan, Paolo Nebrida, and Alexis Toylo left for London last Saturday, December 13th for their participation to the Paddy Power World Darts Championship 2025/2026 which kicked off last December 11th at the iconic Alexandra Palace.
2025 Asian Champion Lourence Ilagan brings his experience and composure to Ally Pally, continuing his long-standing role as one of Asia’s most consistent international performers. The 47-year-old veteran darter from Cainta (DOT Overtime) will make his 10th appearance at the World Darts stage and is scheduled to face off with England’s Nathan Aspinall (World 15th) in the first round on December 19, Friday 1900 GMT (December 20, 3AM Manila Time).
Joining Ilagan is Paolo Nebrida of Robson-Olongapo City, whose recent rise and fearless style highlight the new generation of Filipino darts talent ready to challenge the world’s best. This will be Nebrida’s 4th attendance at the Ally Pally, with hopes of surpassing last year’s third round feat. Nebrida is set to play against Scott Williams (World 36th) of England in the first round on December 16, Tuesday 1230 GMT (December 16, 830PM Manila Time).
Completing the Filipino trio is Alexis Toylo of Cagayan De Oro (DOT Overtime), who will mark his second appearance at the World Darts Stage. Toylo will go against Polish Player Krzysztof Ratajski (World 37th) on December 18, Thursday 1900 GMT (December 19, 3AM Manila Time).
Ilagan, Nebrida, and Toylo’s qualification and participation to this year’s World Darts Championship marks another milestone for the Philippines, showcasing the nation’s presence at the highest level of the sport and inspiring players back home. As the world watches the drama unfold under the bright lights of Alexandra Palace, Ilagan, Nebrida, and Toylo carry not only their personal ambitions, but the pride of Philippine darts on the global stage.
