Congratulations Sandro Eric Sosing of DOT – Tacloban City for placing 2nd in the recently concluded PDC Asian Championship in Shimonoseki City, Japan. He will the 4th player of the Filipino contingent who will play in the upcoming Paddy Power World Darts Championship in Alexandra Palace in London from December 15th to January 3rd.

Sosing joins Lourence Ilagan (DOT Gunner - Cainta), Palo Nebrida (Robson - Olongapo City), and Rey Rivera (DOT – Caloocan City) all of whom qualified via the Asian Order of Merit at the close of the PDC Asian Tour in Qingdao, China. This is the first time that four Filipinos will play in the most prestigious dart tournament organized by the Professional Darts Corporation.

Sosing lost to 4-time WDC qualifier Hakuri Muramatsu of Japan in a grueling finals match that closed at 7-6. He earlier defeated fellow DOT player Sonny Balagat (DOT – Davao City) in the quarter-finals and sealed his World Darts Championship slot after defeating Ryusei Azemoto of Japan in the Semi-Finals, 6-3.

Top 8 – Christian Perez (Robson – Koronadal City), Sonny Balagat, and Raymond Copano (PPH)
Top 16 – Lourence Ilagan, Jake Lubaton (DOT – Zamboanga City), Jemel Modesto (Robson – Quezon City), and Alex Tagarao (DOT – Cagayan De Oro)
