After his match at the Cazoo World Darts Championship, Christian Perez will remain in London for the PDC Qualifying School (Q-School) that will take place from January 9 to 15 at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.

The PDC Qualifying School is an important event in the world of darts where both amateur and professional dart players aged 16 and above are given the chance to win a PDC Tour Card to compete full-time on the sport’s professional circuit.

The PDC Q-School was created by the PDC in 2011 following that year’s World Championship. Since then, Q-School has served as an opportunity for amateur and former-ranking professionals to gain the ability to compete at the professional level of play.

Q-School will see players competing at venues in the UK and Europe simultaneously across the three-day First Stage and four-day Final Stage from January 9 to 15. The UK Qualifying School will be held at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, while the European Qualifying School will take place at the Wunderland Kalkar in Germany.

This will be the first time that a Filipino darter player will participate in the PDC Qualifying School. Christian Perez won the PDC Asian Championship in Fukuoka last September giving him a slot in the Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts held last November in Wolverhampton and is one of the four Asian Qualifiers to the ongoing Cazoo World Darts Championship at the Alexandra Palace in London. Perez’s participation in the PDC Qualifying School is sponsored by Robson Sportscraft, Inc.

We wish Christian Perez the best of luck.
