NDFP NATIONAL PLAYER RANKING – Q2 2025
 
 
The National Darts Federation of the Philippines (NDFP) has officially released the National Player Rankings for the Second Quarter of 2025, reflecting results from 108 sanctioned ranking events from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025. The updated rankings show both consistency at the top and notable shifts among the country’s best darters.

For the second consecutive quarter, Noel Malicdem of Robson (Pasig City) remains at the summit, continuing his reign as the top-ranked player in the country. Despite a drop of 285 points from 1,795 in Q1 to 1,510 points in Q2, Malicdem has maintained a comfortable lead, reaffirming his dominance in the national scene.

Alexis Toylo of Overtime Sports Bar (Cagayan de Oro) holds on to second place with 1,300 points, down from 1,400 in Q1. His consistent performance continues to mark him as Malicdem’s closest challenger.

Christian Delos Reyes of Team Pacman (Manila) also retained his position at third, though his points dropped slightly from 1,350 to 1,265.

Rolly Gabiana from ZSDC SPV (Bukidnon) remains in fourth, slipping from 1,255 points to 1,030, but still solidly within the top tier.

Several significant changes occurred in the rest of the top 8:
  • Sonny Balagat (Overtime Sports Bar, Davao City) jumped from 6th to 5th, although his points declined from 1,170 to 1,015.
  • Ryan Galceran of Team Narra Park (Cagayan de Oro) made the biggest climb, moving from a shared 8th to 6th place outright, despite a slight drop from 1,120 to 1,005 points.
  • Jhay Doria (Pacman-Barabida, Mandaluyong) moved up one spot from tied 8th to 7th with 995 points.
  • Lourence Ilagan (Overtime Sports Bar, Cainta) fell from 7th to 8th, decreasing from 1,145 to 960 points.
While Noel Malicdem continues to lead with authority, the overall trend in Q2 shows a drop in point totals across the board, indicating a more competitive environment and potentially fewer events where top players dominated. The reshuffling from ranks 5 to 8 signals rising competition and increased volatility just below the elite tier.

The next quarter will be crucial for players chasing the top spot or looking to climb back into the upper echelon. With the national darting scene heating up, the second half of 2025 promises exciting matches and fierce rivalries.
