The darters of Team Baguio City reclaimed the championship title of the NDFP Invitation Inter-City Fixed 4-Person Team event last Saturday, November 16 during the P250,000 Free Registration Darterong Pinoy at Casino Filipino Tagaytay.

After winning the first invitational inter-city championship event in 2014, the much-coveted team title goes back to Baguio City after besting other 11 teams. The team of Marvic Meana, Jeffrey Lee, Louie Kiyawan, and Mark Quiteng of the NDFP-affiliated Cordillera Dart League (CDL), topped the round robin eliminations and breezed through the Top 8, defeating Team La Trinidad, 3-0. The team further outclassed Team Tacloban in the semi-finals, 3-0, and clinched their second inter-city title after defeating Team Sta. Rosa in the finals.

The NDFP Invitational Inter-City Fixed 4-Person Team Event was conceived in 2014 to boost the involvement of NDFP-affiliated organizations and their respective local government units in the promotion, development, and growth of darts in their cities or municipalities. Currently, the invitation to this prestigious event is extended to renewed NDFP-affiliated organizations who have organized at least one (1) NDFP sanctioned national ranking event, or two (2) NDFP sanctioned regional ranking events, or at least one (1) NDFP recognized Federation Dart League with at least ten teams within two years since its affiliation.

Congratulations, Team Baguio City!
